• TOPIC # 2. Participles and Participial Phrases.

THURSDAY 4TH. MARCH: Copy and answer in your notebook "Practice and Apply, exercise A, page 171.

WEEK 29.

TUESDAY 9TH. MARCH: Reread and study: Topics # 1 and #2. Copy and answer in your notebook page 174, exercises A and B.

WEEK 30

TUESDAY 15TH. MARCH:

• Study Topic #3.
• Read and analyze Topic #4, then make a summary on your notebook of the main ideas. LANGUAGE NETWORK pages 184-190. Answer the questions: What is a clause? What is an independent clause, and what is a dependent clause?

THURSDAY 17TH MARCH:

• Read and analyze Topic #4, second part. Then make a summary with your own words explaining the main idea. Answer the questions: What is the difference between simple sentence, compound sentence and complex sentence? LANGUAGE NETWORK pages 194-198.

WEEK 31

TUESDAY 22ND. MARCH: Find and rewrite five examples of each kind of sentence (simple, compound, and complex sentence) that we have seen (15 sentences total). Identify if each of part of each sentence with different colors.
